Customer Support Analyst

We're looking for a bright personality to join our small Support Team and help with email, chat, phone and social media support. While some of the inquiries can be closed with a quick answer, others are trickier with fun chances to surprise and delight the user. This role is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who loves travel, enjoys helping people, and has strong written and oral communication skills. This will be an incredible opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of our business. In this role you'll be helping our team overcome challenges as we work to improve the way people travel.

 

Qualifications: LugLess is looking for a helpful person with great communication skills who works well independently and has a strong interest in marketing, customer support, and business development.

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management
  • Extremely polished oral and written communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A sense of urgency and commitment to our user's needs
  • Some customer support, retail, hospitality experience would be ideal
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a generally awesome attitude is preferred 🙂

Location: Boston, MA - Our downtown Boston office is a short walk from Park Street, North and South stations but for the foreseeable future we're remote.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: USD $40,000 - $50,000

Junior Rails Developer

LugLess is looking for a smart, ambitious full stack Rails developer with some Javascript skills who wants to make a big impact. We're in our fifth season of our informal engineering development program where we bring a talented entry level developer under our wing and give them an opportunity to flourish. At LugLess your ability to contribute and help drive the direction of our business is limited only by you and your abilities.

We have a high energy environment that focuses on professional development with a strong foundation in software engineering best practices. You'll push your first customer facing changes on day one and by the end of your first quarter a successful candidate will push code that fundamentally changes the way people travel.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ years of full-time Ruby on Rails development
  • Basic understanding of Javascript
  • Basic understanding of CSS
  • Team player with excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or ample real-world experience
  • Loves to code
